I Confess That I Write, by Gustavo Gac-Artigas, is “the logbook of a navigator of words, silence, and life. The paths, shortcuts, and inns along this journey are marked by a stark humanity (often suffering and punished) present in each text. In these verses, a human being emerges who questions our complacent goodness, who reproaches us for our complicit daily silence in the face of inhumanity. But it is not just a complaint; rather, it is an invitation for our journey to be transformed into wonder, words, and protest” (Reynaldo Lacámara).
“A summa of its author’s poetics, I Confess That I Write offers us his love for words, his trust in the liberating power of the verb, his generous decision to wield it as a key to change the world, his unconditional dedication to those who suffer, his passion for pursuing the luminous traces of truth in our tormented world” (Graciela Tomassini).
