The Cultural Center of Spain (CCEMiami) opened its new Microtheater on May 4, 2023, at The Maurice A. Ferré Park (1075 Biscayne Blvd. Miami Fl. 33132).

We have 7 shipping containers transformed into stages for 7 magnificent works, each of the plays are performed 5 times per night. We have thematical seasons that change every 5 weeks.

Microtheater can be enjoyed every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 p.m. until 11 p.m. with an opening of doors to choose your best view of the scene at 7:30 pm.

An event that you cannot miss, not only for the theatrical experience, but also for its perfect location in the heart of Downtown Miami. We are surrounded by nature, next to the sea and covered by a blanket of stars. Socialize, be entertained, and don’t miss our happy hour every day at Microtheater between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Microtheater On Tour

Microtheater on Tour visits Los Angeles. Microtheater Miami, in its On Tour version, will participate with 3 plays at the Brisk festival in Los Angeles under the coordination of actress and theater director Constanza Espejo. This nationally and internationally recognized festival is a leading platform for the promotion of the performing arts, offering broad exposure to a diverse audience passionate about culture. In this project, we will present three Microtheater Miami plays represented by international and local casts from Los Angeles, Miami, Spain, and Argentina:

08/5: “Las Vacaciones de El Señor” with Andrea Estévez y Guillermo Zapata.

08/19: “Amiga se Alquila” with Agustina Palma y John Mejías.

08/26: “El Huevo” with Naué Souto y Constanza Espejo.

In addition, there will be two additional events at the festival. We will offer a workshop entitled “Introduction to the Meisner Technique” in Spanish, imparted by the actress and director Constanza Espejo.

There will also be a special presentation of the play “El Huevo” in its 50-minute-long version as part of the festival’s special events program.
