In observance of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Centro Cultural Español de Miami, in collaboration with Seven People, presents La vida de colores.

Spanish actress Silvia de Esteban returns to Miami to perform her one-woman show, La vida de colores.

Based on true events, this powerful production offers audiences an intimate glimpse into the life of a woman whose story resonates far beyond her personal experience. A moving theatrical experience that invites us to recognize abuse, challenge the social expectations and pressures that perpetuate silence, and understand the importance of listening to and supporting those who experience violence.

SYNOPSIS

María Candela de la Vega welcomes the audience with the warmth and familiarity of someone gathering friends to share a personal story. Beneath her smile and apparent composure, a painful reality gradually emerges: nine months of marriage during which the love she had hoped for turned into abuse.

Through memories, silences, and emotions she can no longer contain, María Candela reveals the wounds of a relationship marked by violence, while holding on to her desire to see life in color once again.
