With the title “Music from Both Sides of the Atlantic,” the Belcorde Duo, formed by Manuel Briega (violin) and Adrián Fernández (guitar), presents a musical show full of rhythm and color. All the compositions selected for this concert program will be widely recognized due to the close historical and cultural ties that bind us on both sides of the Atlantic. Cultural union and similarities in the concept of melody and rhythm will make the audience quickly connect with the music and enjoy each musical piece. Violin and Spanish guitar unite in perfect symbiosis, making these instruments the perfect transmitters of this repertoire that reflects the essence of both territories.

Born in Campo de Criptana (Ciudad Real), He is senior violin teacher and Chamber Music. He studied at the prestigious Madrid Royal Conservatory, being his professors Juan Linares and Luis Rego respectively. He obtained distinction and graduated with End of Degree “Premio de Honor” in the specialty of Chamber Music.
He belonged to different orchestras as the Student Symphonic Orchestra of Community of Madrid, Symphonic Orchestra of Albacete, Symphonic Orchestra Chamartín (Madrid), Camerata de Madrid, Philharmonic Orchestra of Spain, Philharmonic Orchestra of Madrid, etc. With whom he performed in various concerts across Spain and abroad.
He completed national and international courses with Agustín León Ara, Pina Carminelli, victor Ambroa, Victor Martín, Corrado Romano, Juan Linares, Philippe Koch, etc. He has been awarded a grant by different institutions like Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Luxembourg, etc. and he collaborates with various Spanish and foreign Chamber orchestras and Symphonyc Orchestras carrying out concerts in the main auditoriums and concert halls in Spain (Auditorio Nacional y Teatro Monumental de Madrid, Palau de la Música de Barcelona) and abroad (Opera House of Sydney, Europe and America) as well as completed diverse recordings.
He is a professor at “Music International Courses Martin Codax”. He has been invited to perform at international festivals as “Nan-Ying International Music Festival” that takes part in Taiwan (China), “Festival Internacional de Cuartetos de Cuerda” in Cuzco (Perú), etc.
He is currently the concertmaster and director of the “Orquesta de Cámara Orfeo” and “Esemble Orfeo”, founding member of “Duo Giuliani” (violin and guitar), “Duo Orfeo” (violin and harp) and concertmaster of Symphonic Orchestra of Ciudad Real, as well as violin professor at Professional Higher Music School “Marcos Redondo” of Ciudad Real.
Born in Puertollano (Ciudad Real). He studied spanish guitar at Professional Higher Music School “Pablo Solozabal” of Puertollano, under the direction of María Fernandez Villa. He expanded his studies at Higher Music School “Rafael Orozco” of Cordoba under the tutelage of the professors Javier Riba and Rafael Moreno ending his degree with outstanding marks and distinction. He has undertaken different further training courses specialization courses with great masters of the guitar: Carles Trepat, Ricardo Gallén, Eduardo Isaac, Demetrio Ballesteros, Eduardo Baranzano, Manuel Trápaga y Zoran Dukic among others, etc, as well as Investigation and Innovation Musical Master in the University of Castilla La Mancha
He is guitar professor and performs concerts as soloist across the Spanish territory and abroad, in the five continents: Japan, Morroco, Turkey, Belgium, Australia, New Zeland, etc
He has been commended in numerous contest, national and internationally, including First Prize at “Guitar International Contest Concello de Gondomar” and Frist Prize at “Guitar International Contest Valle de Alcudia-Sierra Madrona”.
He is currently guitar teacher at the “Guillermo Calero” Music School of Manzanares (Ciudad Real) and chairs the association “Arpegionne”, which it main aims are to encourage the development of the music with guitar in all its aspects: composition, interpretation, research and teaching. In addition to that, he is preparing new recording projects to add to previous: 12 temas de cine (2011), La música del alma (2012), Voces sobre la guitarra (2013) and Decantando Versos (2014).
