From May 12, 2020 to May 31, 2020.
The Cultural Center of Spain in Miami is joining the initiative Quarantine Monologues created by The Cultural Center of Spain in Costa Rica, and presenting its Miami Edition. The aim of the contest is to support the arts community during this pandemic.
This initiative invites [email protected], play-writers, directors, and anyone interest in arts and theater to write and record a video monologue sharing your experience during the quarantine. Any genre is admitted and monologues can be submitted in English or Spanish.
This contest is only available for participants living in Miami.
Each person could only send (1) video recorded in horizontal and with a duration between 4 and 7 minutes. The video should be uploaded by the participant on Youtube, and the following form should filled and sent between May 25th and 31st (Deadline 11:59 pm. Miami Time).

The monologue must be original. Any material that doesn’t comply with these requirements will not be taken into account.
The videos received will be posted on a special publication on this website and will be published on social media for public voting.
The 5 most voted videos will receive $100 each.
CCEMiami reserves the right to remove any monologue that contains xenophobic, insulting or discriminatory content.
By sending the form you accept the requirements of this contest and will give the rights of the video and content to CCEMiami.
