CCEMiami presents the guitarist and Singer Yhael May, who is visiting Miami from Spain as part of her Sunflower Tour. Yhael will be closing the Doral International Art Fair on November 10th at 5:00 pm.
ABOUT YHAEL MAY
Born in Pamplona, Spain, in 1990 and living in Madrid, this talented classical guitarist and singer has been influenced by her musical family from an early age. At the age of 5, she began playing the guitar under the guidance of her father, Jesús Martínez Torres. Graduated from the “Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid”, she has studied with teachers such as Iliana Matos, Joaquín Clerch and Leo Brouwer. Member of the Latin Grammy and the Spanish Academy of Music, she released her first album “NIEBLA” in 2023. She has won awards such as the “Giraldillo de Honor” and the “Premio Nacional de la Juventud”. In 2024, she was awarded the “MUSIC & STARS AWARDS” and the “INTERCONTINENTAL MUSIC AWARDS.” Additionally, she has received recognition for “NIEBLA” in cities such as Los Angeles, Poland and London.
With more than 15,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and almost 17,000 followers on Instagram, her talent and virtuosity stand her out in the current music scene.
Currently, she is carrying out his “SUNFLOWER TOUR”, an innovative proposal that fuses her mastery of classical guitar with his impressive voice.
This tour is being acclaimed because it delivers a unique and emotional musical experience, highlighting the musician’s ability to connect with audiences through deeply personal and original performances. In addition, Yhael has been nominated in three categories at the World Entertainment Awards (WEA) in Los Angeles, consolidating her prestige on the international music scene.
