The Centro Cultural Español de Miami presents How to Create Your Own Monologue, an intensive five-day workshop designed for actors, acting students, and anyone interested in exploring their creativity and transforming personal experiences into artistic expression.
Through practical exercises in writing, improvisation, playwriting, and acting, participants will learn to develop their unique artistic voice and create an original monologue, from the initial idea to its final performance.
By the end of the workshop, each participant will have created and performed their own monologue, which can also serve as a professional tool for auditions, film, television, and theater.
No previous acting experience or prepared script is required.
The workshop follows a hands-on, collaborative approach, combining creative exercises, improvisation, dramatic writing, and acting techniques.
Each participant will embark on an individual creative journey, from exploring personal experiences to writing, developing, and performing an original monologue.
