The singer and composer Carmen París, celebrates her 30 years of a successful career presenting, for the first time in Miami, her work “En Síntesis”.
This concert will be a compilation of the most meaningful songs and awarded works. París’ music is a fusion of styles that includes traditional rhythms such as flamenco, al-Andalus music, habanera, chotis, ranchera, cha-cha-cha, Cuban music and Jazz with contemporary sounds. She has a very unique and personal style and is particularly well known for her interpretation of the “jota aragonesa”, a traditional genre very popular in the Iberian Peninsula.

ABOUTA CARMEN PARIS
Carmen París was born in Tarragona in 1966. Her music is a mix of the “jota” (traditional music from the region of Aragon) and other rhythms such as flamenco, al-Andalus music, jazz and other contemporary sounds. Her work has internationalized the “jota”.
She released her first album, “Pa’ mi genio”, in 2002. It was very successful and sold 40,000 copies. Her work is known for being a fusion of styles, and in her other albums she includes rhythms such as “habanera”, “chotis”, “ranchera”, cha-cha-cha, Cuban music and jazz. After becoming internationally famous she worked with other international artists, such as the North American saxophonist George Garzone.
