In recognition of Women’s Month and continuing with the celebrations of the 30th anniversary of the Spanish Cultural Center, “30 years, 30 stories,” we dedicate a tribute to the distinguished Venezuelan actress, Lupita Ferrer, who has an internationally recognized artistic career. In addition to her work on television, Lupita Ferrer has maintained a strong presence in theater, reaffirming her commitment to the performing arts and her influence on Hispanic culture.
Lupita will offer the audience a one-woman monolog in which she will bare her soul and unveil intimate secrets of her life as an actress.
Thru this presentation, we create a space for the celebration of artistic excellence and the creative contributions of women.

ABOUT LUPITA FERRER
María Guadalupe Ferrer was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela. She began her acting career at the age of 15, playing Ophelia in Hamlet by William Shakespeare.
She has participated in theater, film, and television and is considered one of the great figures of Latin American soap operas. She achieved international fame in the 1970s and 1980s with productions that marked the era, standing out for her interpretative intensity and strong stage presence.
Throughout her trajectory, she has worked with major networks in Latin America and the United States, consolidating an internationally recognized artistic career. In addition to his work on television, he has maintained a strong presence in theater, reaffirming his commitment to the performing arts and his influence on Hispanic culture.
Among her most notable telenovelas are “Esmeralda,” “Mariana de la noche,” “Cristal,” “Rosa diamante,” and “Eva Luna.”
Lupita Ferrer found incredible success as an accomplished actress, appearing in a variety of films throughout her Hollywood career.
Ferrer started off her career in film with roles in “A Quixote Without La Mancha” (1969) and “The Children of Sanchez” (1978). Later, she acted in “Balboa” (1982), “The 1986 Miss Universe Pageant” (CBS, 1985-86) and “Curdled” (1996). More recently, Ferrer acted in “Ugly Betty” (ABC, 2006-2010), and “Donaire y Esplendor” (2017).
Her participation includes the plays “Medea” and “Divinas.”
She has won several awards for his career, including the ACE Award for his entire body of work.
