The Yearbook will be presented by Patricio E. Palacios and Maricel Mayor Marsán, directors of Baquiana magazine. There will also be readings of the works presented this year by: Lucía Ballester Ortiz, Amelia del Castillo, Heriberto Hernández, Yvonne López Arenal, Carlos Pintado, Etnairis Rivera and Lourdes Vázquez.
Jury relief of “Nuevos Valores de la poesía hispana” 2008
Dr. Myra Medina, professor of Miami Dade College and member of the Editorial Board of Baquiana, will announce the name of the winner in the first edition of this literary contest, opened for all the South Florida young poetry writers.
