PRESENTACION DE LA FUNDACION ANGEL CORELLA.
El CCE les invita a la presentación a los medios y al público de la Fundación Ángel Corella por su presidente, el bailarín Ángel Corella , y la vicepresidenta de la Fundación, María López Eirín . El objetivo de la Fundación es fomentar el arte de la danza clásica, facilitando los medios a tantos bailarines, que frecuentemente por circunstancias sociales, económicas o de otra índole, no pueden desarrollarse. Ángel Corella (Madrid, 1975) está reconocido internacionalmente como uno de los grandes bailarines del mundo y su brillante trayectoria profesional le llevó a ser bailarín principal del American Ballet Theatre de Nueva York con tan solo veinte años. La entrada será libre hasta completar aforo. Se ofrecerá un vino español.

The Foundation’s goal is to promote classical dance, providing with means to dancers who, due to social, economic or other reasons, cannot develop their careers. Ángel Corella ( Madrid , 1975) is internationally acclaimed as one of the best dancers of the world. His brilliant career made him become principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre of New York at the age of twenty. Entrance is free but capacity is limited. A Spanish wine will be served.

CONCIERTO LIRICO DE MUSICA Y DANZA NIGHT OF ANGELS
El próximo lunes 6 de Diciembre a las 8 p.m. se presenta el Concierto lírico de Música y Danza Night of Angels, una gala propiciada por el Ministerio de Cultura de España y la Fundación Ángel Corella en el Teatro Jackie Gleason ( 1700 Washington Ave., Miami Beach 33139) . Ángel Corella (Madrid, 1975) está reconocido internacionalmente como uno de los grandes bailarines del mundo. Su brillante trayectoria profesional le llevó a ser bailarín principal del American Ballet Theatre de Nueva York con tan solo veinte años; siendo en la actualidad también estrella invitada del Royal Ballet de Londres, La Scala de Milán, del Ballet de Tokio, del Ballet de Australia y del Ballet de Chile, donde colabora de forma habitual en sus temporadas de ballet. En Diciembre de 2001 creó en España junto a su hermana Carmen Corella, bailarina solista de su misma compañía, la Fundación que lleva su nombre, destinada a formar jóvenes bailarines con el proyecto de crear una gran Compañía de danza. El objetivo de la Fundación es fomentar el arte de la danza clásica, facilitando los medios a tantos bailarines, que frecuentemente por circunstancias sociales, económicas o de otra índole, no pueden desarrollarse. El Concierto estará dividido en dos partes en las que se interpretarán piezas de Chopin, Schumann, Satie, Bizet, Rossini y otros conocidos compositores.
The Lyric and Dance Concert Night of Angels with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Spain and the Ángel Corella Foundation will be presented on Monday, December the 6th at 8 p.m. , at the Jackie Gleason Theater ( 1700 Washington Ave. , Miami Beach 33139 ). Ángel Corella ( Madrid , 1975) is internationally acclaimed as one of the best dancers of the world. His brilliant career made him become principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre of New York at the age of twenty; currently also being the guest artist in the Royal Ballet of London, La Scala of Milan, the Ballet of Tokio, the Ballet of Australia and the Ballet of Chile, where he collaborates on a regular basis during the ballet season. In December 2001 he established in Spain , along with her sister Carmen Corella -solo dancer in his company-, the Foundation named after him, devoted to train young dancers with the aim of making up a big Dance Company. The Foundation’s goal is to promote classical dance, providing with means to dancers who, due to social, economic or other reasons, cannot develop their careers. The concert will be divided in two parts with works by Chopin, Schumann, Satie, Bizet, Rossini and other renowned composers.
